The credit quote depends on resolution and output duration and is shown before submission. A 480p, 5-second request costs 50 credits; a 720p, 6-second request costs 100 credits. These are video lengths, not processing times. Credits are reserved on submission and returned on confirmed generation failure. An unresolved provider result remains reserved while its status is checked. Completed videos are private by default, with watermark-free downloads and optional revocable share links. Videos are retained for 90 days; download a copy you want to keep. ## How long does an AI rap video take to generate? Generation time varies with the request and provider load. No measured average processing time is published. Follow the task status or return to My Videos later; output duration is not the waiting time. ## What video durations and resolutions does the AI rap generator support? Output duration is 4–15 seconds, with a 6-second default. Resolution choices: 480p, 720p, 1080p, 4K. Check the quote for your selected settings. ## Which languages, voices and limits apply? Generation requests use English rap vocals and an AI voice, not a clone of the person in your photo. Chinese-language rap and automatic captions are not currently supported. Use photos of consenting adults and content you have permission to use. Uploaded song recordings, voice cloning and guaranteed group performances are not supported by this workflow. Review pronunciation, lyric accuracy, likeness and timing before sharing. ## Frequently asked questions ### What is an AI Rap Video Generator? An AI Rap Video Generator combines a photo with a topic or lyrics to create a personalized rap performance. TryRapVideo is in public beta. Signed-in users can submit photo-and-text or text-only rap video requests, follow their progress, and download completed videos from their private library. Generation time and creative results vary. Review every completed video before sharing; example concepts are not guarantees of an identical result. ### How do I turn a photo into a rap video? Sign in, choose Photo + Idea or Photo + Lyrics, and add your idea or English lyrics. You can add a photo you have permission to use, start from a template, or submit text only. Review the settings and credit quote before submitting. Completed videos can be played, downloaded, or shared with an optional revocable link. ### Can I make a rap video with my own lyrics? Photo + Lyrics accepts your own English lyrics, with an optional reference photo. Short lines, a clear subject, and a memorable hook help communicate the performance you have in mind. The generation request asks for your supplied words without rewriting them; review the result for pronunciation, timing, and lyric accuracy. ### What kind of photo should I use? Start with a clear, front-facing photo of one adult, with permission from the person pictured. Good lighting and an unobstructed face make a useful visual reference. Avoid blurry images or faces hidden behind objects. You can also start from a template or submit a text-only idea without uploading a photo. ### Which language and voice will the rap use? Generation requests use English rap vocals and an AI voice, not a clone of the person in your photo. Chinese-language rap and automatic captions are not currently supported. ### What is the difference between Friendly and Savage? Friendly is intended for light jokes, birthday messages, and upbeat shout-outs. Savage gives a roast a sharper tone. Neither mode permits invented factual accusations. Choose a tone that suits the person and occasion, and keep your prompt specific to the joke you want to tell. ### Can I create birthday raps and funny videos for friends? The AI Rap Video Generator is designed for birthday shout-outs, friendly roasts, inside jokes, and original rap ideas. Browse the roommate, group chat, gamer, and birthday templates for inspiration. Personal details give your draft a clearer direction than a generic request to write a funny rap. ### Do new accounts get free credits? Eligible new accounts receive 50 one-time welcome credits after email verification, enough to submit one 5-second video at 480p (50 credits). Browsing templates and preparing a draft do not use credits. ### What do Starter, Creator and Pro plans include? Starter, Creator and Pro plans include 300, 1,200 and 3,000 credits per month respectively, enough for up to 3, 12 and 30 videos at 720p and 6 seconds. Monthly and annual billing are available. Annual allowances arrive monthly, not all at once. Starter, Creator and Pro subscriptions are available with monthly or annual billing through Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled. Credits are issued monthly after payment confirmation, including on annual plans. Manage billing and cancel renewal from account settings. ### How do generation, downloads, and sharing work? Credits are reserved on submission and returned on confirmed generation failure. An unresolved provider result remains reserved while its status is checked. Completed videos are private by default, with watermark-free downloads and optional revocable share links. Videos are retained for 90 days; download a copy you want to keep. Generation time and creative results vary. Review every completed video before sharing; example concepts are not guarantees of an identical result. ## Public sources - https://tryrapvideo.com/ — AI rap video generation, examples, plans and FAQ. - https://tryrapvideo.com/blog — Rap writing and video production guides. - https://tryrapvideo.com/blog/ai-lyrics-generator — Compare seven AI lyrics generator tools for rap writing using documented features, free access, and editing workflows, plus a reusable prompt checklist. - https://tryrapvideo.com/blog/ai-music-video-generator — Compare seven AI music video generator tools by audio input, lyric support, and published features, with a reusable checklist for your own song. - https://tryrapvideo.com/blog/lyric-video-generator — Compare three lyric video generator workflows: manual editing, templates, and AI assistance.
